I used to live on a farm and we had a quad bike we used to walk the dogs with, they loved it and they really got a good work out.
I'm not in this position now but wondered if anyone would consider or had in the past paid to borrow a quad bike on someone's farm land to run their dogs with?
TIA

A good idea in theory but I would imagine an insurance nightmare. As you probably know quad bikes are lethal in the wrong hands and people do seem to do stupid things.

I used to need to run my dogs for fitness reasons (sheepdogs, it was for trials). They were very well trained to run behind a vehicle. Anyway I found a quad hire off roading place who would have let me do it but it was really expensive considering I needed to do an hour a day for several months! If it was just an occasional thing that might work.

I do it with our working dogs to keep them in great condition, as well as on gathers. My GSD enjoys it too. I am not sure you would be welcome to do it on farmland though, unless you already had a good relationship with the farmer in question.
