renting out horses for a days hunting.

hey! i don't usually ventur (SP!!) in this part of the forums but as i don't have my own horse i can't go hunting. i've been once when renting one from a riding school stables on exmoor. i would love to go more oftten but once you've rented out the pony and paid the cap it's quite expensive!! i would love to hunt more in the glos area and if i did it would be with the VWH. does anyone know of any places in glos thats not toooo expensive? any info would be great thanks!!

Contact the VWH hunt sec who may give you a list of hirelings in the area. Most of thses will be big experienced hunters though, used to country suited to them and are "no mans horses" going through life of many riders, so how well suited they will be to one riders ability is varied.
