Is anyone having problems with reolink cameras not connecting at the moment. I have a v sim card and I have heard there are problems with this card now. Anyone else have issues?

I have Vodafone Smart Sim which is currently working fine. I believe it was The new name for the V Sim. I only got it in February.

Thanks, im in touch with reolink support but ive read that the v sim may no longer work.

I think it must be the camera.

Have you tried removing and re-adding the camera on the app? It might just help resetting it all like you did when first setting up the camera? Also could be Vodafone working on a mast in the area as I sometimes get poor reception at home or work to be told they are working on the mast for a few weeks. Worth checking with Vodafone.

Mine stopped working a couple of weeks ago but turned out I'd used all the data so had to wait for my monthly renewal. That has never happened before!

I have reset it a couple of times. It starts working again for a short while and then stops. The sim has un limited data so cant be that. I am in contact with reolink support but its like pulling teeth at the moment.

Although it seems you can't buy the v-sims any more, mine is currently working. Vodafone support oblivious to what they are even, so don't expect any help from them.
Is it a possibility that it has worked fine during clear summer weather but now that the weather is changing the signal isn't quite as good? Wet cloudy weather hampers a weak cellular signal.

I’ve been unimpressed with Reolink’s customer service and now I know you can no longer buy VSims I will probably buy a different make next time. I’ve had a problems with batteries dying prematurely.
My 4G is working fine, but I also have 2 Wifi cameras which randomly forget the wifi. It’s very annoying as one of them is on the top of a very long pole!

Yeah have to say - I'm really happy with the Reolink camera (Reolink Go + Solar panel) but when I contacted their support to ask about sim cards in the UK they weren't much help at all. They used to sell them in their shop, now they seem to want to wash their hands of the sim card problems.

I just top it up with £5. I don't watch that camera much, it's just a back up.
