Repainting fibreglass cheval liberte trailer

I have a cheval liberte 2003xl trailer which although in good condition, the paint is faded on the outside/losing it's sheen (it's a fibreglass box I think) . I'm thinking of giving it a spruce up and a new coat of paint, has anyone done this and what did you use? I'm thinking it would be easy to do with a paint roller but obviously wouldn't want it to look awful!

I'd be inclined to get it professionally wrapped or sprayed... I'd be bloomin terrified to make a mess of my trailer!
