repairing stable rug

Benson ripped his Mark Todd middle weight stable rug when he jumped his stable door not big big rip is there anyway i can fix it?

A bit of patience and a needle and you probably can. Otherwise most rug laundry services do repairs. Eitherway a lot cheaper than a new rug!

you haven't seen me sew I'm like 1 yr old let loose with a needle lol what kind of string would i need to use? my neighbour good with a needle

I am hopeless with a needle , but managed to do several repairs on my rug ripping horses rug by using a darning ( large , thick ) needle & using the thread you plait manes with .

It wasn't pretty , but cheaper than a new one .
