replacing supplements with individual items

Not sure if the title makes sense, but have been feeding Naf magic and works really well, but was looking into feeding chastetree berry aswell for hormones. But then have thought would it work aswell if I was to buy just Brewers yeast & magnesium as they seem to be the main active ingredients - as would work out much cheaper to do this way?

Should work in theory. If not, you can always switch back, and you'll have learned something about your horse .

Should also be more effective if you look at the levels of ingredients in Naf products, the amount of fillers + the pot size......

Cotswold herbs, Progressive Earth on ebay or natural horse supplies are good stockists.

I am also looking into this, but not sure of which magnesium to go for. Can anyone link to something suitable?
