Replacing the clutch on a Nissan Xtrail?

Mine is on it's way out

Any idea how much on average I should expect to pay to replace it?

My friend says that because it's a 4x4 it will cost a lot more and I just want to prepare myself for the damage!

Over £1k I'm afraid, we'd had ours (brand new X trail) 6months and the clutch went Nissan failed to agree that there was an underlying fault with it, wasn't covered on warranty and we had to fork out about £1k - sorry, not the news you wanted to hear I'm sure
