Reply buttons - whats the difference?

Just wanting some clarification please - when replying to a post which button do you use? the Reply one or the Quick Reply one? You'd think I'd have worked it out by now really...

If it's a long thread it's easier to, and most people do, hit QR rather than scroll back to the top or first page to technically correctly 'Reply'

However if you QR it will reply to the last person that posted who may not have been who you aimed the reply at ...

But if you stick 'QR' on it, it will make last poster know your answer wasn't aimed at them in particular.



If you want to reply to a certain poster, hit 'reply' on their post or hit 'quote' and add what you want.
