I can officially report that these boys are the cutest EVER!! Fruggley is really not so f...ugly. Went for a visit on Saturday and they were in a field with the hay stores, stuffing their little faces and looking very happy about it!! Just a teeny bit big to carry them off in the boot of my car unfortunately...

Did see a very nice mare there but she was sold just before my 2nd visit on the Sunday - so not to be.

Clip Clop Traders have been recommended on a few sites and they certainly seemed like nice folks.

Am not connected to them or anything, but some ppl messaged me to ask how things went with my horse shopping weekend so I thought I'd report back
in a new thread.

So, still not found a horse but have another visit lined up on Friday. Horse shopping is fun !!

They all look lovely, and I have only heard good things about clip clop, but I am wondering about what the web site is saying about them! Each of those pics shows someone standing on their back, why??? Dont really get what that proves. And just another little thing but the pic at the top right, I think she is not wearing a hat? Just dont think the website is doing the place justice.

Thanks! Very few dealers that I would visit but these guys always seem to come out well on forums etc.

As a general observation, I'm finding it tricky going to buy a hunt/xc type as often places don't have xc fences and you can't try em out hunting so lots of speculation and assumption that Irish horses will "jump anything" - although from my limited experience, they do seem to !! Occasionlly with me on board as well :)

My coloured girl came from there last year! She is exactly as sold.

The don't stand up on all their horses ;) the guy who does it is from Ireland himself and is a bit of a "character" ;) ;)

We're going to go and see Fruggley and a couple of others down there this week.

Will hopefully come back with one :)

Thanks for posting - great to hear that they are actually as nice as everyone is reporting!

Ah, but you HAVE to buy the whole set of muskateers, surely? One for all and all for one, although you may need a bigger field hehe... Have fun and keep us posted.
