So Wednesday saw me and my loan horse, India (owned by Sillymare!) off to do some local unaffiliated dressage. The lasr time we went out I cried ALOT, couldn't keep the canter and got 54%!!!! My nerves really affect me. I've only had India since Christmas and I'd had a long time off from riding so have been relearning everything with her.
Anyhow, it was an evening session which meant I had all day to get ready, which was really nice! Bathed and plaited and on the lorry we went.
Arriving.....and finding grass to eat!
For the first tme I felt really relaxed! Got tacked up (was nice to have my OH grooming for me rather than the other way round!) and warmed up. She was soooo relaxed and calm.
(The indoor was very dark, so the photos aren't very good)
So we did Prelim 7 and 13 and we were accurate and got the canter (and kept it!) and it all felt pretty good.
Short video (my sis was working the camera, and sometimes forgot she was videoing me and not the wall....)

Afterwards...
And this is what we won.....
2 Firsts!!!!
A good day out. India was soooooo good
Onwards and upwards! I'm thinking of affiliating over the winter, will we look out of place?
