Do you do it? if so what product do you use and how expensive is it?
I assume its painted on?

I used to get them cleaned and proofed when needed but trying to save money ive only had them cleaned this year thinking I could proof them myself.
I now have a great pile of lovely clean rugs and am a little unsure what to do with them!

I use nik wak wash in reproofing liquid then when the rug is dry I spray with fabsil spray concentrating on the danger areas for leaks .
I cant remember prices but I get them cheap in bulk from eBay.

•Light weight synthetic fabrics up to 18 square metres per litre.
•Medium weight Canvas up to 7.5 square metres per litre.
Just found this on their website, I have done 5 rugs so far with my 5l Fabsil and must have at least 2/3 left.

I bought a little pump sprayer (type you use for weeds) from home and bargain. It's alot quicker than using a paint brush. My lite weight rugs fit in washing machine and I use nikwax rug proof whivh adds water repellency and revives breathability.
