Hi, I am based in the North West but am willing to travel. I am looking for any recomendations for dealers. I want an allrounder, with an emphasis on dressage. Ideally I want an ISH over 16hh. Trying privately but very frustating. Thank you

Carron is great but mostly has warmbloods. You should go see her though as she has a large selection of horses and a good school to try them in - its great to go to see more than one horse on a visit. Check out her website - www.rumerstud.co.uk and call her as well as not all the horses are on the website.

Dally Birkett has the most gorgeous horse for sale, called Louie he is a lovely horse, he former owner rides at the RC I am a member of. I have bought from Dally and would buy from him again.

She is near Stockport and has mostly Irish horses and ponies I think. He's not that horse btw that is just a current ad.

If you are willing to go up as far north as Scotland Turlood stables also have a fair number of Irish horses. You could ring them up and see what they have in stock as they have alot more than is on their website.

I have an 8 year old Irish Piebald and Skewbald, he is 16hh has competed at dressage and show jumping and is always in the ribbons, he has done BHS stages 1-4 he has a brilliant temperament and has great potential.
Grand daughter going to uni forces sale, are you interested, we live in Cumbria

I would have a look up on FB for Nick Saville from Panama Sport Horses. I know there's quite a lot going on legally with Panama, not really too sure about it all but I think he may still have a few horses, and used to have a fair share of ISH's and doesn't give you any bulls****....may be worth messaging to see if he has anything or knows of anything

Oh and maybe check out Bowland Irish Draughts in the Ribble Valley, Lanc's....have seen some very nice crosses come out of there.

Beware of nick saville he has gone bust in a huge way (Google his name it was in all the papers) I tried to buy a warmblood x from him about the 4 years ago and it failed the vet Nick went absolutly mental at the vet and myself threatening us and screaming like he'd lost the plot.

Really? I know there's a lot going on, I'm not sure if they are still at same premises or not, but seen him put a few thing on FB about horses for sale. I used to ride there in the summers years back and they were always very nice horses. I think NMT got her Fig from him. Guessing it may be best to avoid them for the time being! whoops!
