Hi,

I'm considering sending a horse for reschooling and have been pointed in direction of Ebor House Stables, York (YO32). They seem pretty reasonable for what they are offering from their website, however can't seem to find much about them. Has anybody had any experience with them at all with reschooling/ backing. They seem to offer what I require however I've found, as with most things, reviews and comments are usually very helpful in making a decision.

Many thanks

Timmy

I just googled them and from the lack of information on their website, you definitely need to know more about them. I might be wrong but I can't see the staff details or the name of the owner/manager. Have you spoken to them at all, Timmy?

I bought my 2 horses from them in September and the Owner/Manager is Tori Wright, she obv schooled them for sale and they do school well. I know they had a couple of horses in for rearing that were re-schooled successfully at the time! I can PM you her mobile number if you want as I'm still in contact with her, they also have a facebook page (I know they don't get chance to update their webpage very often) - it might have more helpful info on it for you.

I havent personally used them but i have 3-4 friends who have either bought of them or sent there horses there to be reschooled and all have been extremely happy with the results. I know they do a lot of re schooling but from what i know they also continue the work with you after they have gone aswell. My friend sent her thoroughbread horse there to be reschooled as had come out of racing and is now doing fantastic with it, hunter trials, showjumping you name it and she is now doing it with him, but also knw the owner Tori can do lessons with you afterwards as this is what she has done. I have only ever heard Possitive things about this place but i guess its one of those things where everyone has there own opinion give it a try would be my suggestion!! can always go somewhere else if isnt right for you.

Hope this helps :)
