Rescue centres manchester / cheshire ?

After reading the post from hope pastures about lack of volunteers myself and OH were just discussing about volunteering our time .It would also be a way for us both to be around horses and animals which we have a passion for, and in a worthwhile manner!! So does any
one know of places like hope pastures but in manchester / cheshire area? Thanks!!!

Have you tried The Humane Trust in Wilmslow? They have quite a few horses and lots of cats & dogs....
