I have started taking it today in preparation for show jumping tomorrow and my ODE on Sunday - I reckon it didnt work last time, but I am going for the placebo effect this time

So how many times are you meant to take it a day if you are taking it in the run-up to a competition please?

I have absolutely NO idea - I think starting the day before is definitely extreme

I am a very dubious about all these sort of things but I decided to try some RR at my last event having had a bit of 'bottle loss' at the previous one. I put about 4 drops on my tongue 30 mins b4 show-jumping & did the same again when I was changing b4 XC. I was much more chilled & focused.

I am still sceptical & think it was just because I had gone well round that course before BUT I will take it again

I think it works more as an instant nerve clamer so you only need to take it just before you get on!

If my memory serves me correctly there are traces of alcohol in it so be carefull filling yourself up on it today else you will have a hangover by 2moro!!!

No, no, honest, you are allowed to take it in the run up to things not just on the day

It is meant to make you serene and calm and relaxed all the time

Ooooh just actually read the bottle - if you mix it with water you can take it four times a day

Wayhay I shall be high by tomorrow

It does indeed contain alcohol but I think I will be under the drink drive limit based on 4 drops at a time

I bought some last Tuesday in time for a ODE on Sunday, also bought some Quiet Life pills (seven a day) and felt very calm on Saturday

, but I think this may be because I had a good idea I would have to withdraw the next day as the weather conditions were so appalling. Rescue remedy four drops on tongue or four drops in water up to four times a day. I did end up withdrawing from the competition as it was hammering down with rain, and spent too long getting my and horses confidence together again to risk a fall/slip and had no stud holes as wasn't ever planning to event again.

Lol - I have heard of someone take too much before a tetrathlon and then not be able to shoot as they were rather tipsy!

I bought some and took it before sj and xc at Borde Hill, I was sure i was much more clam and relaxed than i was expecting to be. However, i forgot it for Ascott his weekend and felt just as calm and relaxed, maybe even more so!! So maybe it was all in my head or it could be because this wasn't his first event so i was much less worried anyway.

Who knows but i think theres no harm in taking it anyway, will keep in in lorry from now on. Just to be sure
