Any ideas how much I should give horsey before is comp? Several people have suggested using it and, today, i went to Boots and bought the spray version.

Im just not sure how much to give.

you'd be better get the bottle with the pipette in it..... as dont think you'll be able to judge amounts by a spray.... I used to give this to a rather stressy anglo arab I had and he used to get approx half a pipette morning and night!

Hmmmm, didnt think of that! I do have the pipette too, but its mine (I guess Ill have the spray)! Did that little amount help? I was thinking more like half the bottle!!!!

After a few days it worked wonders with the boy - I didn't actually own him at the time, he was my best friends horse who I eventually bought when she could no longer afford to keep him....

He was the type of horse that you could not leave in alone, having once literally taken the stable door off via the frame.... and he was the same if he was the last one to be brought in! Nightmare horse! But after a few days he was quite chilled about life and could be left alone on the yard!

Also another good calmer I found is the Feel Good 30 one, I have a stressy warmblood that you usually have to sedate to take anywhere and he's been on that for months now and is again really chilled out!

Hi, apparently, you can`t overload on it. Your body takes what it needs which is why you only need to take a couple of drops. Anything over this and it is a waste. It states to take between 3-4 drops or sprays any time that you feel that you need it. I use it on the way to a show, then when tacking up, and then again before I go into the ring or before I get on.

LMAO!! I think you might be after the alcohol!! A friend of mine came to a show to watch me ride, and was in the bar getting a sandwich or summat and saw a rider come in and down a glass of 80% gin, 20% tonic just before his round!!

I've often been tempted to do something similar!!

Actually, with homeopathic remedies, I think dosage is the same for horse or rider; I've heard the effect isn't stronger the more you use (except with alcohol!!
