Okay, *deep breath*.

For my dissertation I would like to analyse the trainability and success of the ex race horse in other disciplines.

I have to collect secondary data in order for me to gain ethical approval due to the failure of my first proposition of collecting HR's during holistic massage (not like I was sticking needles in their eyes..)

Do you think this idea's pheasable? I'm feeling pretty positive about it after crying for 2 days straight that I have to come up with a completely new idea

My proposal presentation is this Monday, so any help, big or small is much appreciated!!!!!!!

Not 100% sure where I plan to get data from, I know there are plenty of successful eventers that are ex racers and have just read a heart warming article about 'Sea Lord' who is now a grand prix dressage horse.

If anyone has any ideas about where I can gain solid information I'd love you forever. Really didn't want to do a secondary data analysis dissertation, but that's life.

Thanks x

Good idea. Why don't you contact some of the racehorse retraining places? There is at least one charity that does this, and they should have some data that they may allow you to use?

Definitely worth contacting RoR and chatting to them, and places like HEROS and the other place I can't think of!
