I have a few days of leave to use this year and was looking at taking my youngster on a camp, but they are either full or the dates don't work for me. I was a bit nervous in any event as I'm not sure how she would be in a busy environment. I thought a better option for us might be to take her to a training centre for a few days where I can have private lessons on her and perhaps join any groups at the appropriate level. Yorkshire riding centre look like they have a good offering like this, but they are a bit on the expensive side for our current level as we won't be in a position to take advantage of the great facilities or need that quality of instruction at this stage, and it's not terribly local. Does anyone have any recommendations of somewhere in the north west (preferably Lancashire area) that might be good for this?

Ingestry is really good but I'm not sure if you can take your own horse residentially. You could see if you could hire a stable for a few days at Somerford and book lessons with the instructors that are based there and sort of create your own camp. Eland Lodge might be a possibility too. You could also contact a pro rider of your choice and see if they will put together a package for you.
