Yesterday at 3pm we said goodbye to our little Buckley.
He was 11 years old and suffering very badly with his hips and with incontinence issues.
He had a steroid injection 2 weeks ago which didn't really make any difference to his walking and we didn't want him to suffer.
He spent his last day cuddled up with mum under a blanket being stroked and massaged.
Before they took him to the vets they stopped by his 'favorite spot' by the river. They let him have a mooch around to take in the view one last time and gave him his favorite biscuits. He went to sleep with his head in mums arms.
