resting after flu/tet jabs

my horse is due his vacs today, just wondering how long you rest your horses after being done, some vets say you dont need to others say 2-3 days, for me it depends on how much of a reaction he takes to it

we never rest them up.

I asked the same question of the vet 2 weeks ago he said that its not a live vaccine so there's no need for any rest time, I did only hack the following day though just to be sure.

I give them the day off when the get there jab and then go a hack the following day. then go back to normal.

Iv always rode mine as normal. My mare took a reaction to her jab last fri so she was off until yesterday.

vet just been and asked her told to rest today & tomorrow and if no reaction then ok to ride on Sat
fingers crossed he is ok, if he does come out in a reaction then i can give him piriton hopefully that will do the trick - i have a comp next Sat
