Looking at purchasing an Ideal Jessica dressage saddle. Only thing is the black has faded quite a lot and looks quite brown in parts. Other than that it's in lovely condition. Any advice on getting the colour restored that won't result in staining my jods to death?!

A master saddler can dye the saddle for you, it does mean stripping the leather of all its condition though to get the dye to take, so it needs careful conditioning afterwards. For mild cases Effax Ledecombi, a cleanser, helps redistribute the colour across the saddle, good for slight rubs etc.
