Retirement homes in the north of England?

Anyone know of any good ones? Horse has been diagnosed with arthiritus, can't be ridden for a good while, and therefore can't be loaned out whilst I'm at uni, so it's looking like this is the only option! Any hints or tips will be gratefully received!

I don't know of any off hand but if you ring the HORSE TRUST on 01494 488464 and ask them they have a list of retirement homes all over the UK. Best of luck
