Any recommendations? and idea of costs?

My old mare is coming home from loan and will be living out at my "normal" yard but I know that I will need to keep a close eye on her to ensure she is happy living out. Horses tend to winter very well here even though it is freezing but I would like to consider my options before I find myself stuck. Mare is a cob x TB and has done a lot in her competitive career (and for me). Loanee has kept her out and a bit on the fatter side for me to help as well.

Mare may/may not be up for light hacking hence considering retirement. I don't want her miles away so would only look at Surrey.

Can not afford 2 lots of part livery and tbh, I don't need the school etc just possibly a box and a field..

I am lucky that if it all went horribly wrong, I know my YO would try to make room to bring her in for a bit and she is already going to box share in the summer as she doesn't do flies - - but being realistic I can't afford the easy option of paying the full fees for her and she still has a good quality of life, so PTS is not an option.

I am hoping that it will work having her live out, as the only way I could afford to keep 2 in would be on DIY which I really don't want to do!

Bob Gregory in Cobham. Don't know if he still does it but I had my daughter's pony there for about a year 3 years ago. It was about £20 per week for grass livery. Horses were checked. He does have boxes but that would cost more.

Just seen this post - if Bob no good you could try Chris Norman in Cobham, lovely grass livery fields with shelters, makes his own hay £17 a week. PM me if you need his number.
