Retirement livery - North Wales (or along route to South Wales)

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knew of new of any retirement homes in the North Wales area?

I have obviously googled and have a list of 'known' ones but was wondering if anyone knows of small smaller places or private yards. My old man is roughly 30 and won't make it through another winter where he is. He needs feeds approx 3 times a day as can not manage haylage, and I unfortunately can't do this as I work and have a daughter. Ideally I would love him to go to a small yard, but I can only afford retirement livery fees, rather than full-livery fees.

I'm around 30mins south of Hereford, near Abergavenny so in South Wales but have experience of horses whom need the sort of routine you are saying he requires. Excellent references available, very small private yard. PM me if you'd like to know more!

I am near Market Drayton, NE Shropshire, and have a 34 yr old arab mare who needs similar - I could accommodate another who can share with her, so long as he can live out (I save as much grass as I can for her through out the winter because she just can't swallow any fodder). It won't be cheap though - her diet costs me getting on for £30 per week and it takes time and a field. PM me if you want to discuss it further, or come and visit.
