retirement livery

anyone know of a retirement yard for horses around manchester cheshire lancashire that has mainly turnout for an old girl
it is for a friend of mine that bought a horse that was supposed to be 15 and it turns out is 30 plus, the horse needs to be out more than in due to bad joints etc
any info on yards that specialise in retirement would be appreciated
