Returning ebay item

I bought a pair of over reach boots that were described as new and with tags . They are not new ,they have been washed and put back in their original bag, they are not tagged at all and the bag has a small rip in it and the paperwork inside is scumpled up.
I want to return these boots to the seller, do I message her with my complaint and ask for the return address. I paid on paypal do I inform anyone else.
Thanks. I actually think they would rub a horse badly as they are so stiff and rough around the top.

You need to contact the seller to lodge your complaint.
Try to stay calm!

If the seller ignores you (after about a week and two or three e-mails), lodge a complaint with paypal.
Hopefully you will be able to get it sorted out with the seller.
You will be expected to pay to return the boots.

take pics of the boots and bag, etc too ASAP to help you try and prove the condition they were received in.

A polite request to the seller usually sorts out these things. However, if you can't resolve it amicably, contact Ebay and they can sort it out for you.

I bought a pair of breeches described as "perfect" that had a hole in the knee. The seller ignored my emails, so Ebay processed the refund for me through Paypal.

I have messaged then and said I want to return them as they are not new as described ,I will go and buy some new ones from local shop and hope. Thank you.

When you do return the items to the seller you must return them by trackable means, i.e. recorded delivery. You are responsible for paying the return postage. If the seller does not respond then take a dispute with Paypal saying 'goods not as described'. Invariably the buyer wins a dispute & Paypal reverse the payment & reimburse buyer.

Yoy may well get some money back via paypoo but it will take 6 weeks, it did with mine anyway, and i didn't even get the items so why it took them 6 wks even when i had proof that i didnt receive them I don't know !

I would go straight though paypal as item not as described. The reason i say that is i always go straight to paypal, that way they just tell you to return it with a trackable posting. Then you just enter you tracking code via paypal and as soon as they have received it paypal refund you so you only have to wait about 5 days at the most before it's sorted. Also i think it's safer as you know you are going to get your refund.
