Reveiws on 'HorseATack'?!

There's an old thread on them from about 6 months ago. I hate the place and its affectionately known on our yard as chavatack because of some of the items they stock and some of the customers! I find them very in your face.

As Shadowboy said, some of the staff are very in your face (one in particular drives me mad!) but others are lovely. They do have some good offers, and their sale is always worth a look. It's quite local to me so is handy for "emergency" purchases, but in the main I tend to use Equestrian and Country Leisure http://equestrian-country.co.uk/ Their staff are lovely; very, very helpful and they will go out of their way to help you.

Thankyou for the feedback so far!! Just looking for a couple of cheap rugs that i can stick on my mare as she LOVES to completely trash them.. I have no idea how, her field is post and rail with electic and no trees inside that she can 'attach'' herself too - so am very reluctant to buy decent ones..

If it's their own brand ones, Everest, then personally I wouldn't bother! They are like mini-skirts!! Not very deep at all. Try Axiom rugs on eBay if you want cheap and cheerful but decent rugs.

I can't get enough of Horsatack, but only because I don't have anything close enough to make pointless trips too.

Only even had one bad experience, I bought a lead rope and the clip snapped with one use. I took it back and they replaced it with no fuss, I've had that for 6 or so months and it's been fine.

Staff at one in mk are friendly and I use it for bits and bobs, clothing sale is normally good too

Oh goodness, the clothing sales! I bought a coat for £30, that was originally £120!!

Also agree about the staff, the girl who helped me pick out a saddle was very helpful! I was looking at completely the wrong saddle, she helped me find a cheaper and more useful one!

I'm at the MK one too :)

I use the MK one and the staff are very good and ask me how my ponies are remembering things about them which makes me feel like they care about their customers

I do find that their ranges are limited and presume they only deal with a few suppliers

I have two Everest turnout rugs and have to agree they aren't deep but so far they have prooved to be waterproof with no leaks and haven't rubbed
