Just had to share with some fellow H&H'ers about my rewarding afternoon;
As some of you may have seen on a previous post, I have had in a little 14hh hackney filly. She was owned by gypsies who starved and beat her and then she was rescued by a couple who admittedly know nothing but wanted to rescue her.
Anyway, I've had her for two weeks of handling etc- she came to me only just halter broken!
Today her owner came to see her and learn how to carry on her handling, and after seeing her what was "wild" pony have fly spray on all over, her feet picked up and her being fully groomed and enjoying it, she burst into tears!
She was just so happy about the change in this little pony and became completely over whelmed! So tonight I am feeling very happy because as difficult as it was at times, it was indeed very rewarding!
