Finally got to see the Dr at the local hospital today for a definite diagnosis on what happening with my hands and elbows. Blood tests came back border line so was referred by my GP
It turns out after lots of prodding and poking and testing of reflexes
that I do not have RA. What I do have however is tennis elbow in my left elbow and golfers elbow in the right elbow and tendonitis in my right shoulder. My options for treatment were cortisone injections
which received a firm No Thank You, elbow clip thingies - yes please physio also yes please
Got to have an ultrasound on my right hand to find out what is causing the pain and discomfort there.
Have to go back to see the Dr in February and need to have 2 lots of blood tests between now and then to check inflammation levels.
Thanks for all the previous support I got from you folks with RA. I really do appreciate it and wish you all the best
