Rhinegold Blizzard Rug

Anyone got one of these rugs or any rhinegold? Only reason i ask is that im thinking of buying one and the neck cover and wondered if they are any good.

Also how does the neck cover attach to the rug?

Don't have that particular rug but half my yard have the Rhinegold Torrent lightweight turnouts and they are brilliant. Excellent value for money. I originally bought mine as my TB was coming in every day with more holes in him so I bought a cheap TO to cover him up.....its just done its 3rd Autumn and still not a mark on it

i have a heavyweight rhinegold rug on my arab, who is still living out thanks to it, its keeping him lovely and warm.
Waterproofing seems better than any other he has had. the neck cover on mine (not sure which type bought from HOYS) is attached by metal clip in centre of neck and two velcro straps at side, has fleecy wither and neck protection and my boy normally has rug rub by now and in a bib and no sign of it this year, bib still in storage!! yay! x

I have a few rhinegolds. i have 2 aspens with the fixed neck. it is a lovely warm rug and a good fit. I have used it for 5 winters now and never had to re proof it. If they roll in mud, i have seen me hosing it down when they are wearing them and it is fine. would recommend it. I have a couple of other lighter ones too and never had a problem.
