Rhino Med T/O Original v's Rhino Plus - fit ??

Hi, looking to purchase a Rhino medium turnout for my boy and just wondered if anyone has any comments or advice on the fit difference between the Original and the Rhino plus? The Original has the traditional two straps at the front where as the Plus I believe has the V system...? My boy is an ID x TB and a biggish chap, any comments? Oh and do the neck covers attach really thoroughly as would prefer a detachable hood though know sometimes this can be a leaky option? Thanks in advance!

I have the rhino plus in 6'9" medium weight for my lad who is big and chunky over the shoulders and neck. The rug fit is fab with the 'v' at the front but the neck cover only just fastens on the edges of the velcro and is not a good fit. It also didn't close nearer the neck as closely as I'd like so when it rained hard it ran down the side of the rug and dripped onto his neck and down inside his shoulder. Hence me looking for another type of rug for this year :-(

Can't fault the rug though so as it has removeable neck cover in the sure fit design I can use it without. I also purchased the duo liners to us underneath as the fastened into the velcro neck bit so could make it different weights. Just a shame neck cover too small. Have been looking to buy a bigger neck cover but can't find any :-( so new rug this year it is.
