I think they are like mini skirts! I have a WB and they only just cover his belly. Other than that I love them as the v-front closure means they fit around his big muscley neck and chest better.
I have one. It's lovely, strong and waterproof (it's a no-fill lightweight) but I wouldn't say it was particularly generous round the shoulders. My horse is a Connemara x, and not fine, and it just about fits him.
I like all the rambo/rhino rugs, but I dont find them that generous over the shoulders and the v closure has no adjustment.
I am looking for a new winter stable rug and I am going down the Mark Todd route.
I have the v- neck one on my big shouldered welsh and it is excellent the best fitting rug he has ever had. plenty deep enough all round
could do with a size bigger as it sits forwards and doesn't pull on the shoulders which pulls the back forwards a bit which would mean a 6ft on a 14.2 pony.
I love it, it looks so much more comfortable for him to be head down eating.
the straight neck ones wouldn't fit him, he has a stable rug one which is fine but it would be too tight in the field.
