Is that the red tartan stable rug? If so I've got one for Bob (bought it second hand) - it is ace, keeps him lovely and snuggly

I actually swapped it with a girl on the yard, as I had a Rhino H/W T/O rug which was too big for Bob - now she insists on using the T/O rug as a stable rug for her horse, as it is tartan too therefore must be a stable rug

Ah well, takes all sorts I suppose

yes the red tartan

bless your girl on the yard, maybe you should give her a guided tour to rugs in the rideaway catalouge

Thoroughly recommend one then - quick, buy it before someone else does

I was tempted to print off the pages from the Horsewear catalogue and show her, but thought that might be a bit rude

Can't see a problem with using a turnout rug as a stable rug myself.......

I didnt say there was a problem her using it as a stable rug - it was just her insistence that it must be a stable rug because it was tartan which tickled me

Yep I've got one! REALLY NICE. However, think mine's a tad small for the size though. Don't know what anyone else thinks? I've got my yearling in a 5'9" tonight and it's definitely a little snug around the chest. She ordinarily fits a 5'9" stable rug and a 6'0" turnout rug.
