Rhino vs rambo rug sizing

My mare is a standard 6'9" in rambo turnouts. I am ordering a rhino stable rug - the only one horseware do with an integral neck and wondered if anyone knows if rhino rugs are cut/sized slightly differently to rambos - should I go for 6'6" instead of 6'9" ? any suggestions welcome thanks!
 
I have found my rambos to be roomier than my rhinos though only have turnouts to go on for it. My rhino turnouts are 6' and my rambo 5'9. I have a rhino stable rug which is 5'9 (the turnouts are v-necks so do tend to sit well forwards and his bum then sticks out. I would stick with the 6'9 for a stable rug

Agree with the above sizing experience. I'd go further though, if 6ft9 perfect in Rambo you might want 7ft in Rhino?

I only have turnout rugs

Rambo and Premier equine big (both horses down a size)

Amigo mid way (one horse is up a size and one not)

Rhino, Weatherbeeta, Mark Todd small (both horses up a size)
 
i always found rhinos seem to cut for pony shapes and rambos for bigger horses. I've one that rambos seem to catch at the withers and have too big a neck - while the rhino sits perfectly above withers and is a snugger fit in front.
 
The only reason I ask is that I lent a rhino wug in 6'9" from a friend and it is too tight at the wither - unfortunately a problem with all wugs rambo or rhino on my mare, but was too long at the back and generally wasn't a good fit! So I was just a bit worried that they are cut longer but not as deep as the rambo pattern. Anyway you are all probably right and I should stick with 6'9" seeing as it has a built in neck cover even though a little snug wouldn't matter too much in the stable.

I have a rhino wug & I also found it a bit tight around the shoulders/chest, and horse is 3/4tb, so I just added a carabiner to the main ring and that made all the difference :)
If I had the money all my rugs would be Rambo or bucas, but sadly rhino is the most I can afford! :)
 
Just about to find out about Rambo sizing tomorrow. Dizz is a 5'9 in amigo but they are a little generous, and a 5'6 in Premier equine and that still covers ALOT of him. I have just bought a 5'6 Rambo original in the sale as it was the only size they had and I'm hoping it will fit him! For ref he is fine built and in his Shires lightweight the neck is a bit gapey but it has dogs on so he still wears it.
 
I'd say the Rhinos come up a little tighter round the chest.

TB # 1 finds them too tight around the chest but is perfect in a Weatherbeeta. Mark Todd and Amigo are even tighter on him. Premier Equine doesn't work on him at all being both too small (chest and shoulders) and too big (length and depth) at the same time.

TB #2 isn't as broad across the chest and shoulders. He takes 6'6" in a Rhino, Amigo and Mark Todd and they fit him perfectly. He takes a 6'3" in Weatherbeeta.
