Can anyone recommend a riding stables that will be able to take me out hacking?

Going to this area for a week in the winter and it would be nice to get a ride in.

Not nose to tail dullness.

That’s literally around the corner from me!

There’s nothing local. But heading over to Pembrokeshire (say 30 mins away) and there’s a few places. I occasionally go to Crosswell Riding Academy which is at the foothills of the Priseli Hills and they do some wonderful ride outs. You could also try a little further down the coast at Newport Sands. Norton Stables is located near to Newgate. They do beach rides (probably 45 mins away).

Sorry, this is going to be super vague.

We remember going to a beach. It had a steep staircase which went directly all the way down.

Once on the beach, it was just a small cove. There was no way off the beach other than back up that steep staircase.

Any idea where this may have been?

Llangranog perhaps? The second bay is cut off at high tide and the only way down is a steep stone staircase.
