i know red is for horses that kick and i think green is for young horses. are there any others??

It is yellow for stallions. Or at least that is how the old school taught me for hunting that is!!

And if you ever find yourself in the world of showing, Dales ponies also have ribbons in their tails (it does not mean they kick though!) - they are traditionally red, white and blue also, but can be any colour.
