ribs on a thoroughbred?

Sorry, another post. Just been talking though and my friend said there's a *name* that TB's often get as they can't cope with being overweight.

But she can't remember what it is... Does anyone know?

My TB I always worry as you can see her ribs. The vet said she's fine and he likes to see a thoroughbred of her weight, but I still fluster.
 
If your horse is well muscled seeing ribs is not a worry in fact I hate to see fat TB's as their legs often just are not up to it.
We are getting more and more used to seeing fat horses in this country when I first started working with horses all the in work horses would have ribs you could see it was normal .
 
assuming she doesn't resemble a hat rack and you can just see her ribs, I agree, sounds spot on to me, weight wise :)
