RICE TRAILER WEIGHT CARRIER

Hi there please could someone help me..... I am viewing an old RICE trailer later and I want it for a 14.1 pony ( not chunky) and a 14.2 chunky cob (Irish cob) and even though the owners have stated it will carry 2 14.2 horses/ponies I need to know exactly if it will carry the chunky cob too....has any one got the same trailer or size trailer and knows the size? I have emailed Richardson Rice York and I will see if I can get the weight details from the trailer but I hear this fades with age.....

As long as the floor is sound there should be no problem carrying both of your horses.

Thank you so much for replying so quickly!!! Its my friends cob my 2 are 14.1 and 12.2 but i would want to take hers in the trailer too for shows, fun rides etc... I will check it over with a fine tooth comb....

Yep....floor, Floor, FLOOR!
Poke the corners inside and underside with a screwdriver to check for rot, Rice floors last 10_15+ years. My old Rice was 30 when i sold it for 1350.....with a 6mnth old floor, it's 3rd since new. (Have a new-er 6in taller one now)
Both carry 2 BIG horses, maxi-cob and 16.1 hunter, and now 17.1 Shire-x and 16.2 IDx.
