I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help but thought that if anyone could help it would be HHO-ers!
A good few years ago in one of the horse magazines (I can't remember which one, know it wasn't Horse and Hound) there was a mini-series about Richard Maxwell trying to help a problem horse. This horse (can't remember his name dammit) was from the same line as King William. He had a trapped nerve between his front legs due to covering very wide mares at a young age. I seem to remember that he freaked out at the idea of being ridden because it had been painful for him for so long, and they were going to turn him away for a break and see what happened.
I never got the third and final installment and don't know what happened to him. I've often wondered whether he came round or not.
I know this is really sketchy info (which is why google has not helped!) but does anyone have any idea what I am talking about?
