I have been offered the above trailer for a good price, it's about 6 yrs old but hardly been used. I am concerned about being able to get parts etc as Richardson rice went out of business. Does anyone have I've of these? Are they OK and have you had any problems with parts? I have also been offered an ifor 510 for the same price so a bit unsure about what to do! Any advice appreciated :-)

Hi, we have the Richardson Supreme and its a great trailer to tow and quite light weight for its size. We have only had to replace, brakes and brake cables so far but my OH managed to get them from somewhere near us that wasnt from Richardson.

Generally well-regarded and parts shouldn't be a problem. But I would budget for new tyres at 6YO. Even if they're not worn, trailer tyres are under a fair amount of stress and rubber does age....

I have had one for about 5 years (it's about 10 years old in total) and I love it! I've had various things done to it since R-R folded and never had a problem getting it done - including having a full width breast bar made by a former R-R dealer. IME they are much more sturdy than the 510s, more spacious inside and offer a better weight capacity (if they're in your requirements)
