Ridden Classes at Shows???

I am doing the Veteren ridden class at our local show on my 1st pony, just wondering what is expected of me???

Normally walk and trot round ring altogether.

Then line up and do individual show.

Walk trot and canter on both reins.

They may then ask you to take tack off and run then up in hand.

as its a local show you may just have to walk, trot and canter round together, then youl get pulled in, do your individual show which will envolve a change of rein and trot and canter on both reins.
I dont think you'l have to strip the horse for a local show!!
nothing fancy, keep it plain, simple and proffessional(tack wise) you can put as much showing products on as you like lol!!

at the little local show I went to in March all the classes had to strip their horses and trot up.

Fair enough, shouldnt be a problem any way. just be ready for it, they do decide to strip.

Depends on the age of the veteran as I believe after a certain age they arent expected to canter? I definately saw this in a schedule once...
