Since our flatwork seems to be going so well and my ankle is no longer painful and seems to be able to work again, I thought i would enter some local ridden classes. At local level, is it okay to do ridden horse/ridden hunter in a snaffle?
I have a double bridle if need be, or could get my hands on a Rugby Pelham if that is acceptable (she is still young).
Is it black or tweed jacket and should I wear spurs?
All advice gratefully received.

You'll be absolutely fine in a snaffle. If you feel you can move up to a pelham (doesn't need to be a rugby one) or double, they do complete the picture, but don't feel pressured to do it if you're not ready.

It's a tweed jacket for hunters (black isn't correct for women in show clases, except in some specialised classes), and spurs are correct for hunter classes, but not essential, so again, don't feel you have to use them if you don't feel comfortable with them.
