Ridden hunter? Does it run in autumn/winter?

Hi, I have recently decided that I want to have a go at ridden hunter but don't really know what to do, also I don't know if it has a certain time of year to when all he shows are and I am really stuck to where to find the competitions which are on. Any advice or knowedge about ridden hunter would be really appreciated, thanks.

Most shows are held in spring/summer/autumn...Have a look on www.ridingdiary.co.uk for shows in your area..
