Ridden Showing- What do you do in a "Style & Appearance" class?

As title really.. I thought about entering this class at the next local show but am clueless when it comes to UK showing thingies. I checked on the http://rehorses.com/ site but all they have is "Best Turned Out" class, is it the same thing?

Can I ride this side saddle as I don't do astride anymore?

My old riding club before I moved had style and appearance classes. It was essentially straightforward ridden showing- walk, trot and canter all together and then your individual show. You were marked partly on turnout and partly on your ridden show. I saw a couple of people doing the class sidesaddle so I don't see why you can't!

Nope, got my show schedule right here, definitely "Style & Appearance" written here!

OK, if it's just straight w/t/c and a show- I think I can do that!! Will have to make sure we are scrubbed up well though.

At some shows they do it more like a dressage test with points for turn out. Depends on what the show decides to do. Sometimes they give you a number of minutes for you to perform your own "routine" and other times you just do a normal individual show.
