Ride Alert... (safety system)

not at all, im being sent a freebie by them within the next few days so will let you know how i get on with it!
 
Fab idea! I already carry emergency details with me on an armband whenever I ride, but obviously this gives scope for access to much more information. There's only so much you can get on your arm, or a tag on the horse!!!!

Maybe we should try and keep this near the top of the list for a while so more people might see it, as I had no idea this existed til now!

seems like a good idea for getting yor horse back and if you are unconscious or injured etc :) but would many people know to call the number on the tag?:confused:

does it cost much?:confused::)
 
My pony has got out of his field once or twice. i wonder if this could go onto his rug and if someone would phone ?

He's a nosey blighter and he'd happily let someone approach him / get hold of him to read the tag alright. I'd thought of painting my mobile number in huge letters on his rug but thought i'd end up with allsorts of weirdo's phoning :) I wonder if I would be better just painting my tele number in small letters on his rug instead ?????
 
I briefly looked up alert id, and it seems the prices have all been brought in line and both alert id and ride alert cost the same.

I, for one, will be buying it soon.

Can't and won't put a price on my safety!

Excellent news - the power of the forum hey?! I actually think both products were v reasonably priced and the whole concept is very good, but was just baffled as to the cost differences.
