Hi,
I have been looking at Ride Irish website and would like to go and try a few of their horses. As it is a very long way from me I would love to know if anyone has been there or purchased from them as I am fed up of wasted journeys!

Nice horses when i went..... My friend bought a nice coloured from there. Vet thought it was a year younger than they sold it as (3 not 4), but no proof.

BUT do not tell them your budget as their prices will magically grow to fit your upper limit!!!

When I was there the average price was 4.5 to 6k

Nice horses looks wise, but very green.

No hard sell, and willing for vet to go.... plenty of time and basic facilities available.....

Worth a look, but dont buy on impulse

They do look really nice and i will most likely paying them a visit august time. . . but i agree about the price. . . I emailed them and i was a bit :O

But they are nice horses. . .:D

They usually have a very quick turn around! when i went to look at a horse they had already sold it by the time i got there and then they just kept bringing out lots of different ones for me to try! Nice horses but quite green specially hacking out!

My mare (see my avatar) was bought from Ride Irish when she was 5 or 6 by her previous owners and I bought her from them a year ago, shes turned 8 this May. Shes lovely and I think their quality of horses are really good by the looks of it. Good allrounders. I think they are quite reputable and i've heard they are good with not trying to hard sell.

I reckon you should go try their horses. Their website has quite a few nice ones at the mo. Just be definite about what you want and what your budget is as with any dealer.

Buyer beware! My own experience was not good. I have heard of someone currently involved in a court case funded by their insurance company!
