feed it to dads Welsh/TB youngster. He came to us as a hardly handled 2YO colt, and it did make a noticeable difference, gelding him helped too.

He seemed more level headed at the time, and he's still on it now, living out 24/7.

It does need alot of water though.

I like it a lot, but you must remember to give it 5 mins or so to soak. My horse loves it and she is doing very well on it. I used to feed the Quiet Mix which is really just a maintenance feed and have moved 'up' to feed this as her work upped. She has loads of energy but not silly.
I really rate Allen & Page feeds......

I use this on my one of my mare and it helped her allot, reading this thread it says to soak it i have never soaked and fed for over 15months have never been advised to either by the manufacturer

It says on the bag to soak before feeding

Hi

I always use Allen & Page feeds, imo they are one of the best around. Feed Ride and Relax to my two mares and Old Faithful to the ol' boy, all do really well on it. (I never soak it either, didn't realise you had to, always add a spinkle of water though. Have been feeding it like this for years and never had a problem).

I have used Allen&Page foods before, and whilst they are lovely, i do find the mixes they create to cause choke if you dont soak them, then leave them for a bit. Ride and Relax is relatively new having only been introduced late summer of 2005, and even more recently have they started to advise owners to soak it. Unless i put loads of water in my lad would choke on it, so i gave up, and have since used other mixes/pellets with no problems (although ATM we are not feeding any concentrates!)

I feed it to my arab and my andy and they both love it. It's completely molasses free which is exactly why I started using it. Smells lovely too. As for soaking if you ask Allen & Page they say you can soak to make it as palatable as possible (because of the absence of molasses) it but its not necessary i.e. its not like sugar beet in that its dangerous to be fed dry...

I swear by it!! The difference! I took liberty off it in summer when the shop didn't have it and god asap she was back on it. When my new lad is older he will be straight on it! *hes unbacked atm kinda...*
