I haven't sold one through Rideaway I've had a look at buying 2nd hand there and they seem fairly pricey to me, I guess that is because of their comission so you might get a good price if it actually sells. Also the saddles they have are in very good condition, so I would consider it as a buyer.
I've had a lot of luck selling saddles on Ebay so that woudl probably be my first choice, or you could ask Patrick W in beverley to sell it for you (similar deal to rideaway, don't know if you would get a better price/quicker sale)
I've been keeping an eye out for a K&M dressage saddle, although currently my lad is out of action, PM me with details if you like.
I recently- within the last few weeks- traded in a nearly new K+M GPD at Rideaway....I bought it from them and it just wasn't right for my horse.
Its on their website now.....I paid almost £700 for it and they gave me about £420 for it against an Ideal WH. I could have got more selling privately but I just couldnt be bothered
I like Rideaway.....plenty of choice, and even if their saddles are more pricey second hand- they are all good quality.
As much as I love Ride Away, I would consider selling your saddle privately first. I contacted them to trade in a brand new GFS saddle against another saddle. I was offered £100!
I eventually sold my saddle very quickly through Preloved for a more acceptable sum of £300. I've given up on Ebay, their charges are too high.
I think if you want to get rid of it quickly then Rideaway isn't the worst option - they wouldn't take our Falcon saddle though when I bought my K&M from them last year :-(
However, K&M they will def take I am sure as they are pretty easy to sell. Maybe try bartering a little on price?
