You're gonna need DEEP pockets for that one!

In this Economic climate? When such businesses as Miss Sixty and Motorworld have gone under...

It was reported in the same article that the turnover was £7 million.....

[/ QUOTE ]

Turnover could be a billion for all I care, profit is the only figure that counts....

Absolutely. Turnover for vanity, profit for sanity and all that...

I mean if you want mail order, which has the better reputaion - Derby House, Robinsons, Horserugs4U or Rideaway?

Lets just say only the York based one has never given me or anyone I know any problems!!!

Gosh, they've had a few quid off me over the years!

The only thing I have noticed recently is that they seem to focus more on the mail order stuff now.

The shop is often in a state of disarray, with staff who are not quite as well informed as they could be.

I still make the odd pilgrimage there though, although I'm 250 miles away now, and not just 5 miles down the road like I used to be!

Sounds like the Robinsons store in Ashton to me!

I was gutted when DH bought Olney. A really quality saddlery was completely destroyed. DH are SO crap now I don't even bother looking at their website. However I've never had a problem with Rideaway and they are often my first port of call for basic riding gear. Nothing fancy, but the deliver. Hope someone decent buys them and continues a good business.
