Hi all - I am a 25 year old who has recently moved to Edinburgh and is looking for a horse/pony to ride between 1-2 times a week. Anyone know of anything available?
I am a confident rider who has 16 years of experience - 15 years of which were spent training and competing my Welsh Sec C. Unfortunately since I retired him last year I have been missing having something to ride. I recently started lessons again at a local riding school to get ride-fit but would like to build a bond with a new horse and ride more regularly.
I am 5"5 and weigh around 9 1/2 stone. I am flexible with regards to what I ride - I like a challenge just as much as a well schooled horse! I would be happy to accompany someone on hacks, school or compete.
I do not have access to a car so I would need to be able to travel by bus/train to ride but I am prepared to travel for the right horse.
So if you've heard of anything please let me know. Thanks!
